Middle/High School Regional Contest Rules and Legal Disclaimer
CONTEST RULES AND LEGAL DISCLAIMER
Bank of America and Stock-Trak have partnered together to bring two financial literacy simulation contests to middle/high schools and their students. Both students and teacher-facilitators can win exciting rewards based on their active involvement and fulfillment of specific criteria. Stock-Trak and staff reserve sole and final judgment as to all matters concerning contests and interpretation of contest rules.
By entering the contest, you agree to abide by the following terms.
Disclaimer for Teachers
Stock-Trak is hosting a regional challenge for teachers with a chance to win a $50 gift card. This challenge opens August 1, 2024 and closes December 31, 2024.
Eligibility
- This contest is open to teachers at participating schools. Entrants must be a teacher at a participating school at time of entry, with internet access and an established email address.
- Stock-Trak employees, affiliates, licensees, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Void where prohibited by law.
How To Enter
- Teachers must register a class and provide each registered student with a username and password to access and complete the game. “Class” means a group of students in a curriculum related class or school sponsored or hosted extra-curricular activity or club.
- For the teachers to be eligible for the gift card, a minimum of 25 registered students must log in and complete all 12 simulated months of the game.
- Teachers have the responsibility to ensure accurate record keeping of student users.
- Limit one entry per teacher and email address.
Contest Deadlines
- The deadline to register students is November 30, 2024, and the simulation must be completed by December 31, 2024 to be qualified for the contest.
- Stock-Trak reserves the right to modify the dates and/or terms of contests at any time without prior notice.
Winner Selection and Notification
- The first 40 teachers (regardless of region) to meet the registration requirement and who have at least 25 registered students that complete all 12 game months will receive a $50 gift card from Stock-Trak.
- The odds of winning vary from contest to contest depending on the number of entrants and the quality of entries.
- Prior winners are ineligible to re-enter future contests.
- Stock-Trak will conduct a week-long audit in which it will review teacher registrations within 9 days after the deadline to complete simulations to determine the first 40 teachers to meet the requirements stated herein (the “Teacher Audit”).
- Winning teachers will be notified, one day after Stock-Trak completes the Teacher Audit, by Stock-Trak via the email address the teacher provided during registration.
- When notifying winning teachers, Stock-Trak will ask each winner to provide the address to which their prize should be mailed (“Prize Address”).
Winner Disqualification
- Stock-Trak will send messages via the email address provided requesting follow-up information to each winner’s teacher or school, failure to respond within 14 days of receipt will result in winner disqualification.
- Stock-Trak assumes no responsibility to ensure winner response.
Prizes
- Prizes may not be substituted or transferred by any contest winner and a winner may not receive cash redemption equal to the value of the prize in lieu of the prize.
- Stock-Trak reserves the right to substitute alternate prizes of equal or comparable value.
- Prizes are offered “as is” with no written, express, or implied warranty. Stock-Trak is not responsible for replacing prizes as a result of damage prior to, during or after shipping or events beyond the control of Stock-Trak
- All prizes will be mailed to the winning teacher or their school officials within 7 business days at the Prize Address previously provided.
General Conditions
- All decisions of Stock-Trak are final. By entering, participants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these contest rules and the final decisions of Stock-Trak.
- All taxes on any prize won are the sole responsibility of each winner, including, without limitation, any federal, state, or local taxes, which may be deemed applicable in such winner’s jurisdiction of residence. Winner(s) shall be solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes incurred by acceptance and use of the prize(s) (or any portion thereof), if applicable.
- Stock-Trak reserves the right to cancel contests at any time for any reason.
- In the event a contest is canceled prematurely for any reason, Stock-Trak will use reasonable efforts to conduct the Teacher Audit and declare a winner(s), but in the event a winner cannot be declared, the prize(s) will not be awarded.
- Contests are subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and shall be governed by the state in which they reside. By participating, entrants agree that their state courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to the contest or sweepstakes.
- Stock-Trak is not responsible for late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
- Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the contest will be disqualified. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. Stock-Trak RESERVES ALL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY ENTRANT ATTEMPTING TO DO SO TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING REPORTING SUCH ACTIVITIES TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES WHICH MAY RESULT IN OR LEAD TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Contestant Releases
- Entry in the contest constitutes permission to archive a contestant’s status as winner indefinitely on any webpage on Stock-Trak’s or Bank of America’s website.
- Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winners’ Publicity Rights and winning entry for promotional purposes.
- Contestants agree that the sole and final judgment as to all matters concerning contests and interpretation of contest rules are at the sole discretion of Stock-Trak, and its staff.
Releases/Hold Harmless
Stock-Trak and Bank of America, and their members, staff, affiliates, and successors and assigns, are not liable or responsible for:
- any claims, damages, losses, injuries, or death including any third-party claims, arising from, or relating to, in whole or in part, any contest, including entry and participation in any contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes.
- entries that do not follow guidelines.
- entries and responses to winner notifications that are illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misdelivered, or undeliverable.
- any technical or human errors, malfunctions, failures, etc. resulting in participation of contests.
Prize Releases
Stock-Trak and Bank of America, and their members, staff, affiliates, and successors and assigns, are not liable or responsible for:
- prizes that are lost in the mail, arrive damaged, are defective, or have other unforeseen problems.
- substituting another prize in lieu of the original prize.
Privacy
Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Stock-Trak Web Site. We will not sell your address or personal information. School address, and teacher’s name is required so that the contest sponsors may send your prize, should you win. Stock-Track may provide contest winners’ contact information to Bank of America to facilitate the awarding of prizes. Bank of America manages personal information in accordance with their privacy policies which can be found at www.bankofamerica.com/privacy.

Spring Regional Challenge
Stock-Trak is hosting a regional challenge for middle school and high school students with an opportunity to win a Google ChromeBook. The contest opens August 1, 2024 and closes December 31, 2024.
Eligibility
- This contest is open to students who (1) attend a participating school and (2) are in a registered Class and have been provided with a username and password to access and complete the game.
- Stock-Trak employees, affiliates, licensees, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Void where prohibited by law.
How To Enter
- A student must have a username and password to access the game to participate in the contest.
- Students are entered into the contest once their teacher registers their Class and provides the student with a username and password to access the game.
- To be eligible for the prize, students must complete all 12 months of the game by December 31st.
- Only one (1) contest entry per person, per contest.
Contest Deadlines
- Students must be registered, i.e., provided a username and password, by their teacher by November 30th, 2024.
- Registered students must complete the simulation by December 31, 2024.
- Stock-Trak reserves the right to modify the dates and/or terms of contests at any time without prior notice.
Winner Selection and Notification
- The contest is being offered in five regions. Each of the five regions will have a single student winner selected for a total of five student winners.
- Winner selection is determined by the highest game score in each region. The student who completes the simulation with the highest score in their region will win a prize.
- Stock-Trak will conduct a week-long audit in which it will review student performance to confirm the Leaderboard standings and identify the student with the highest score in the region (the “Student Audit”). The Student Audit will be initiated within 9 days after the contest deadline to complete the simulation.
- Each student winner will receive a Google Chromebook provided by Stock-Trak.
- Stock-Trak will contact the teacher or school of the student winner, via email at the email address the teacher provided during registration, one day after Stock-Trak completes the Student Audit, by Stock-Trak via the email address the teacher provided during registration.
- All student winners will be notified [in person/via email] by their teachers within 7 calendar days of receiving notification from Stock-Trak. It is incumbent on the student to provide the teacher with the best contact method for notification.
- When notifying winning students, the teacher or school official will ask their winning student to provide the address to which their prize should be mailed (“Prize Address”).
- Limit is one prize per regional contest.
- Prior winners are ineligible to re-enter future contests.
